So The Flying Cheetah, Marie at the Cheetah, herself asked this question:
Should I stick it out with my WIP in a college setting or convert it to HS?
Oh life or at least WIP changing questions.... well here we go.
Purple for high school--- pink for college. I have a REALLY REALLY gross piece of logic for choosing those colors, but it wasn't blog appropriated and it's too early in the morning for those sort of joke... DAMN I should have picked the blue peeps. Sigh, that would have been funnier.
Teaser it's a dick joke.
Into the battle arena of DOOM...
Let the battle begin.
We have a WINNER
Purple WINS!!! Make it high school. It's easier to market in high school than in college. There is a movement of literature called New Adult, but it hasn't really taken off yet.
See the peeps can make all your life chooses. YAY no more responsibility for you!
Maire, I hope you got the answer you were looking for.
Please please please post your questions in the comments. thanks!
I truly love this in a completely evil kind of way.
ReplyDeletePink is so sliced in half!
High School it is!
This is awesome. I think it is great to make important decisions using Peeps. I may have to go buy another couple packages of them for this purpose.
ReplyDeleteMan, I wanna go blow up some blue peeps now *snicker*. And you're totally right about making it high school YA. I was at a conference this last weekend where they tackled the college age question and said point blank that it's not a division that's selling well, if at all. :-/
ReplyDeleteThis is so hilarious. I'm going to miss the battling peeps once Easter is over. lol
ReplyDeleteFantastic. I got a question for the peeps: should I work on revising my contemporary or my urban fantasy?
ReplyDeleteLOL! This is awesome! I have a similar question to Alicia: should I finish writing the 1st draft of my contemporary, or start revising my supernatural??
ReplyDeleteThe peeps have spoken!!!! And, yes, high school really did win out. I wrapped my conversion from university to prep school just last week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Erinn, and thank you jousting peeps. I will never question my decision again. :)
Love, love, love this!
