Welcome to my life

Help:  I'm drowning in paper work, meetings, planning, grading, recording, and general real life.

Anyone else feel like their real life gets in the way of their writing and blogging and social interactions?

I'm heading back into the writing process.  ONE LAST set of revisions before I send it off to agents.

Sunday I had 2 hours to work... I wrote three sentences.

Maybe this weekend I'll get more in.

  1. You can do it!

I often feel like I'm drowning. I leave my house at 6:30 am and never get home before 7pm. Insert 3yo plus writing life, and you've got yourself one full plate.

It's okay to cut yourself some slack. Sometimes you really need it. :) Hang in there, it'll get better.

  2. OMG. You read my mind. It finally got to the point where last week I said to Hubby "maybe I should put the writing aside." He didn't like that suggestion. I seriously don't know how you guys do it.

The craziness will die down. We all just need to remember to breathe.

  3. I SO hear you. I can't believe how the weeks are flying by. School is swamping me right now.
    Hang in there is right.

  4. Absolutely! Perhaps it's part of that downhill run to the end of the year, with everything piling up and up. It must be. Right? Right?

  5. Argh.. yes, everyday! Last week I sat down and forced myself to write - I hadn't touched my MS since summer!

I hope things calm down for you soon! It will get better, don't worry :).
