Mission Complete!

DONE!!!!!!!! Penny and Hank Draft 1 is completed!

I won't lie, if it wasn't for this blog I would have quit in the beginning of June. Thank you!!!!!!!

Penny and Hank, final word count 59804!
Pages 237
Genre YA

No Ya Highway post today. But I promise to comment on blogs later on tonight!!!!
Thank you for all your support.

Plan for rest of the week- Play with my daughter, go to Hershey Park with the family, do a thousand parties on Saturday, read On Writing by Stephen King. Maybe next week I'll finish spell checking and do a read through of Penny and Hank. But I plan on Revising No System At All for the rest of the summer.

(anyone know where I can print of a 300 page MS for cheap? Or is it better and cheaper to use my home printer?)

  1. Congrats on finishing!! Time to celebrate! Don't know about printing...Staples maybe? Depends on your home printer.

  3. Woohoo!!! Congrats! Take some time and savour the moment. :)

I've never printed out my ms - I do all revisions right on the laptop.

  4. THanks everyone!!!!

I wanted to print of the draft of my first project and do hard copy revisions. Maybe this time around would be the last time. Kinkos is looking like a solid option, it'll be about $20 which is cheaper then a new printer cartage and new paper for my home computer.

  6. Hooray you!

I've always printed my hard copies at Staples, but that's because they're closer and have that neat discount cardy thing.

  7. Congratulations! I wish I was anywhere near finishing anything at the moment. First priority my thesis. Then my current WiP. Then what I wanted to be my current WiP, but which turned into a W(not)iP because of last year's NaNoWriMo (and as a result of a general "I need to finish my thesis first"-ness of yours truly. Good for you that you are not letting life get in the way of finishing your work (even if it sometimes gets delayed - I read your post on having non-stop distractions when all you want to do is write, and I can relate to that).

Good luck on the editing :)
